Hello, I am
Russ Henson.
I design and code amazing things.
Art and design have always been a big part of my life, but it wasn't until college that I discovered the wonders of web development, which I like to refer to as the "Hello" World. As a Front-end developer, I enjoy bringing my ideas to life and seeing them come to life.
01. About
Hello! I am Russ Henson, and I'm a self-taught Frontend developer. I've done a lot of graphic design work and even started my own clothing brand - Steezy Manila. I got into front-end development because of my interest in art. It began even before I started high school. The course in computer science turned out to be a good fit for me than mechanical engineering, which I had originally intended to take.
I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science at the De La Salle University. Recently, I've been working on my own projects to include in my portfolio. For the most part, I taught myself everything I know now about front-end development. In order to improve my skills, I enrolled in an online course and worked on a few projects.

This project taught me how to think outside the box. The design was originally made by my lecturer on my online course, but I also added my own flair to it. In the process, I also learned how to use various animations

I'm still learning Vue. Learning Vue was challenging given that it was the first framework I studied. I have no backgrounds in front end frameworks. Luckily, Vue is a JS framework which made it easier to grasp.
